It is best to preserve your flowers within 3 days of the event when they are still fresh, and not wilting or turning brown, although some flowers hold up better than others for longer periods of time.
We use the highest quality resin on the market which helps prevent bubbles, but please keep in mind some micro bubbles are inevitable especially when casting natural flowers. We do our best to eliminate bubbles as the art piece is curing. Each piece is handcrafted and may differ from one piece to the next.
When natural flowers are dried in silica gel, air dried, or pressed, they will often fade or even darken. Some white flowers may appear to be off-white once they have dried and preserved in resin. Pink and Red flowers sometimes appear darker after they are dried and preserved in resin. Thin, delicate flowers may appear translucent in spots.
We use the highest quality UV resistant resin, but we recommend keeping your art piece out of the direct sunlight and in a cool, air conditioned room. Please handle with care for longevity.
Depending on the order, our turn around time is usually 6 - 8 weeks.
3D flowers preserved in silica take about 1-3 weeks, depending on the flower. Pressed flowers can be preserved in one day. It usually takes about 4 hours to press an entire large bouquet. Once the flowers are preserved, it takes about 2-3 weeks to complete the project. It takes about 72 hours for the piece to cure and about 21 days until it is heat and scratch resistant.
In most cases, yes. We like to dry and preserve all the flowers just in case some do not dry as well as we would like. We choose the best ones to preserve.
Yes! We use non-toxic, food safe resin. Please just wait about 3 weeks after receiving your pieces to allow them to fully cure. Cheers!
No, Smaller flowers, or petals from larger flowers work better in the smaller molds.
Yes, but if they are air-dried or dried in silica, we can only create something 3D for you such as the heart or block. Also, keep in mind, that air drying flowers often shrivels them beyond recognition. Silica gel is the best ways to dry 3D flowers. Also, we cannot reshape the flowers once they are dried.
